Family Voices of Wisconsin is helping to develop a new system of support for children using home and community based waivers (1915c); coordinating grassroots efforts to end the waiting list; working with Wisconsin's Title V/CSHCN program to set up five regional information centers for families; and has collaborated on a brochure to help families understand school and community based therapy services. Low reimbursement rates for home care, waiting lists for family support and other community-based services and Medicaid prior authorizations practices challenge families as they try to access supports and services for their children.
